TRUST STANDARDS & HR COMMITTEE

Appointed by Trust Board, supports it in matters of staff, curriculum and assessment.

[Whilst only 2 schools these responsibilities will be performed by the full board]

Providing professional advice/coaching for leadership and teaching/learning.

School improvement and performance for new academies, rated less than ‘good’ that join the trust.

Providing vision, leadership and direction for the academy and ensuring it is managed and organised to meet the aims and targets it sets.

Evaluating the school’s performance to identify the priorities for continuous improvement; raising standards; ensuring equality of opportunity for all; developing policies and practices; ensuring that resources are efficiently and effectively used to achieve the school’s aims and objectives and for the day to day management, organisation and administration of the school.

To secure the commitment of the wider community to the school by developing and maintaining effective partnerships.
